Reclaiming control of Native trails
Many of the trails and byways established by Native Americans and used for centuries evolved into today’s highways.
They are sacred routes that tribes no longer have control over. But some tribes are working to identify and reclaim important trails to tell their own stories about them.
Native America Calling takes a look at a trend by tribes to find and control their own trials.
