Webinar celebrates 30th anniversary of Native American Languages Act

Please join the National Coalition of Native American Language Schools and Programs for a webinar panel this Friday on the 30th anniversary of the Native American Languages Act.
The panel will be moderated by National Coalition President Leslie Harper, founder of Niigane Ojibwemowin Immersion School in Minnesota, and Vice President Nāmaka Rawlins, founder of ‘Aha Pūnana Leo, a Native Hawaiian language program in Hawaii.
Guests include Dr. Gloria Sly (Cherokee), Dr. Ofelia Zepeda (Tohono O’odham) and Dr. David Beaulieu (White Earth Ojibwe). They will discuss the history of the Native American Languages Act and why it still significant and needed today.
