Scott Brown refers to Elizabeth Warren as 'white' in 2nd debate

Republican Scott Brown again attacked Democrat Elizabeth Warren about her claims of Indian ancestry at their second debate on Monday night.

Brown said Warren considered herself to be "white until she turned 38." He also claimed that she used her "minority" status for professional gain although he admitted that lacked any evidence.

Warren, for her part, admitted that she could have handled the Indian issue better. She has claimed Cherokee and Delaware ancestry but has not produced any documentation.

“You know, I wish I had been faster in answering the question. But the truth is the truth," Warren said, according to The Boston Globe.

Polls show an extremely close race between Brown and Warren.
