San Manuel woman arrested after home sentencing
A member of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians of California who was recently sentenced to home detention as part of a murder-for-hire plot was arrested on Friday.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise said Stacy Cheyenne Nunez-Barajas could end up going to prison for potentially violating her plea agreement. She was arrested for "trespassing" at the tribe's casino, the paper reported.

Nunez-Barajas and her brother pleaded guilty for playing a role in a plot to kill a local bar owner who has gone into hiding. Critics say the pair got off lightly because the tribe is a political powerhouse and has donated money to the Michael Ramos, the San Bernardino County District Attorney.
