The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin has reached agreements to share its Indian Reservation Road funds with several communities.
The tribe signed agreements with four municipalities and one county. The local governments will receive between $1.5 million to $3 million to maintain roads on the reservation.
The tribe offered all communities a chance to share in IRR funds. But Brown County decided not to participate, citing a lack of information about the legal implications.
