Boy's death in Alaska Native village ruled a suicide

A 13-year-old boy in the Alaska Native village of Shungnak committed suicide, authorities said.

The boy hanged himself in an abandoned building. Alcohol was not involved, authorities said.

Shungnak is an Inupiat Eskimo village of about 270 people.
