School district names Indian education director


The public school district in Great Falls, Montana, has hired a new Indian education director.

Sandra Boham is a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. She was a financial aid specialist at Salish Kootenai College.

Her goals are to ensure Indian students succeed. She will also help the school district implement the Indian Education for All Act, which requires schools to teach about Indian culture and history.
