Members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe plan to organize a protest against a women's clinic that could offer abortions on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

Tribal President Cecelia Fire Thunder proposed the clinic after the state passed the most restrictive abortion law in the nation. She said tribal sovereignty would prevent the application of the state law.

But tribal elders and other members say they don't want abortions performed on the reservation. They plan to hold a march to the tribal council and a separate protest against Fire Thunder.
