A Cherokee man in Iowa has been denied unemployment benefits for refusing to cut his long hair.
Dewey Harris was fired from his trucking job in April because he wears a ponytail. He was offered a company car and directions to a barber but refused to cut his hair.
The Iowa Employment Appeal Board [Link] ruled 2-1 against Harris and said he wasn't entitled to benefits.
