The mother of two Indian students who were suspended for having long hair has pulled them out of school in Los Fresnos, Texas.
Deborah Burns filed a grievance over the Resaca Middle School's dress code. She says it is discriminatory to force Rodney and Skyler Burns to cut their hair.
Rodney, 14, and Skyler, 12, were suspended on the second day of school for having long hair. They are part Chickasaw.
A petition at http://www.thepetitionsite.com
seeks support for the boys and calls on the Los Fresnos School District to rethink its policy.
