Blackfeet Nation voters are going to the polls today to vote for council members.
The nine-member council has five seats up for grabs. A total of 73 candidates filed for election, a large number, but not unusually large for the reservation.
All five incumbents are seeking re-election. They could be voted out of office if they don't get enough votes to advance to the general election.
The job pays $41,000 a year.
