Tribal members in Saskatchewan set up a blockade on Monday in support of an ongoing Native protest in Ontario.

The blockade only lasted a few hours but the protesters, from the Poundmaker First Nation and other First Nations, said they wanted to draw attention to the dispute in Caledonia, Ontario.

In Ontario, Native protesters from the Six Nations Reserve have occupied a construction site since February 28. They say the land was stolen from them.

Efforts to resolve the dispute are ongoing but clashes at the site on Monday have put talks on hold.
