The First Nations University of Canada sent out a correction saying that the head of international programs hasn't been fired, at least not yet.
FNUC says a panel will take seven days to review the status of Leonzo Barreno. But he will be fired after the review period ends, the school says.
The school has fired a slew of top administrators in recent months as part of a financial and management shakeup.
