A Native newspaper lost an ad contract after talking about the First Nations University of Canada controversy, the publisher of Eagle Feather News said.
John Lagimodiere, who is Metis, recently spoke to FNUC students about being in Native media. Soon after he told them was facing pressure to take sides over the firings and financial crisis, he said FSIN canceled its contract with Eagle Feather News.
The school fired a top official, suspended two others and is facing a $3 million deficit.
