The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota will dedicate a new center to provide treatment to victims of child abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence.
The Family Advocacy Center of Northern Minnesota is a joint project of the tribe, North Country Health Services and other health and law enforcement agencies.
It will provide training, support, counseling and other services to the Red Lake, White Earth and Leech Lake reservations, as well as other residents.
The center will be dedicated on Wednesday at the North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji.
