A deal struck between the Navajo Nation and the non-profit Navajo Boys and Girls Clubs will allow the clubs to reopen tomorrow, The Farmington Daily Times reports.

Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. tried to bring the 14 clubs under the tribal government. But the non-profit director, Ray Begaye, refused and then said Shirley cut off funding.

Shirley could not get Navajo Nation council approval for the transfer and the funding dispute caused the clubs to close. The agreement, to be announced tomorrow, requires Begaye to resign.
