The Navajo Nation council voted 73-1 to order an audit of the tribe's Boys and Girls Club office.
The council tacked the audit onto President Joe Shirley Jr.'s State of the Navajo address yesterday.
A council delegate said there some of the 14 Boys and Girls Clubs on the reservation are in danger of closing due to money problems. The office has a $3 million budget.
The council also ordered Shirley to discuss his $500 million bond proposal. Shirley wants to bring more businesses to the reservation.
