The Shinnecock Nation of New York is still considering locations for a casino.
The tribe has been offered the Belmont Park Raceway in Nassau County. But the tribe hasn't committed to the location.
“We have not decided where to put a casino,” spokesperson Beverly Jensen told YourNabe.Com. “We haven’t selected a site yet. It’s been offered to us and we’ve looked at it and we’re making a decision.”
The tribe gained federal recognition last October.
