The Shinnecock Nation could sign a casino agreement with Nassau County by the end of this week, Crain's New York Business reports.
The memorandum of understanding would pave the way for casino development near the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. News reports have said the tribe is interested in buying 40 acres for $120 million.
Meanwhile, the tribe has reportedly identified another gaming site in Suffolk County.
