A woman who lost the Lumbee Tribe's chairman ship by 89 votes is asking for a recount.

Ruth Dial Woods lost to Jimmy Goins in a November 4 election. She says there were irregularities with some of the ballots.

The appeal is going to the Lumbee Supreme Court.
