The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday will hear an appeal by convicted American Indian Movement activist Leonard Peltier.

Peltier is serving two life sentences for the 1975 murders of two FBI agents. He is asking the court to move up his date for a parole hearing. He's been denied once and the next hearing isn't set until 2008.
