The following is the written testimony of Clayton Fulton, chief of staff at the Indian Health Service (IHS).
Fulton appears before the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs at an Oversight Hearing to “Examine the President’s Budget Requests for Fiscal Year 2027 for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Indian Health Service.” He provides testimony about the IHS, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
