The following is the written testimony of Chuck Hoskin Jr., Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation.
Hoskin appears before the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs at an oversight hearing entitled “Economic Self-Determination in Action: Examining the Small Business Administration Native 8(a) Program.” He provides testimony about the federal government’s contracting program for tribal businesses.
