As fans mark the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip-hop, Native America Calling looks at on contributions by Native artists.
Diné rapper Def-i is among the big winners at this month’s International Indigenous Hip-Hop Awards in Vancouver, B.C. Gary Paul Davis aka Litefoot is one of the OGs of Native hip-hop, winning a handful of Native American Music Awards.
