On Wednesday, at 9am Eastern, the Senate Committee on the Judiciary continues a confirmation hearing for Amy Coney Barrett to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Barrett will go through another day of questions from members of the committee.
Her first round took place on Tuesday.
On the first day of the confirmation hearing on Monday, committee members delivered opening statements but no one mentioned Indian law. Barrett, currently serves as a judge on 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, did not mention Indian law in her opening statement either.
The hearing will run through Thursday. On that same day, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), the chairman of the committee, has scheduled an executive business meeting to consider Barrett’s nomination.
Barrett could be approved by the committee as soon as Thursday, meaning she would be ready for a final vote on the U.S. Senate floor.
