The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies is holding two hearings of interest.
Today, the subcommittee hears from Dr. Charles Grim, the director of the Indian Health Service. Grim is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
Tomorrow, the subcommittee takes testimony from tribal and Indian leaders on funding for a wide range of Indian programs. The National Indian Health Board has a full list of the witnesses [Link: (Excel)].
