Sherman Alexie to read at Gonzaga University

Noted author/poet/fillmmaker Sherman Alexie will do a poetry reading at Gonzaga University in Washington next Tuesday, January 30.

Alexie's most recent work is "Dangerous Astronomy," a collection of poems. He plans to publish a new novel, "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" in the near future.

Alexie, who is Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, spent two years at Gonzaga before finishing his degree at Washington State University. He was at Gonzaga last semester to speak to an English class.
