Tex Hall, the former chairman of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota, is going to tribal court to seek a new election.

Hall, who served two four-year terms, lost the November 7 election by more than 200 votes. But he alleges casino money was used to buy votes for Marcus Wells Jr., who won the election.

The tribal election board heard the allegations but found no wrongdoing. Hall says the tribal court hearing on December 18 will give him a better chance to present the case.
