N.D. tribe invests in $80 million refinery

FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2003 The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota hopes to start up an $80 million refinery and ethanol plant within three months. The tribe purchased 10 acres for the operation and is committed to buying 460 more. The venture is expected to create 80 full-time jobs plus 300 during construction. Get the Story:
