House Republicans aren't worried about passing a watered-down version of the lobbying reform bill because they say Americans aren't concerned about the issue.

In the wake of Jack Abramoff's guilty plea, GOP leaders touted numerous reforms. But the bill being headed for a vote today doesn't go as far as they promised.

The measure will require more disclosure from lobbyists and require lawmakers to specify the earmarks they request or place in appropriations laws.
