After weeks of delays, the House Republican leadership plans to introduce a lobbying reform measure as early as today.

The details aren't fully known but the measure would temporarily bar lawmakers from privately financed trips and require lobbyists to disclose their gifts to lawmakers, according to The New York Times. It would also require more disclosure on eamarks.

The Senate was debating its lobbying reform bill last week but delayed consideration due to controversy over the sale of U.S. ports to a Middle East-owned company.
