The Morongo Band of Mission Indians of California is donating 7,000 turkeys to hundreds of charities and non-profits.
The tribe's Thanksgiving give away has been going for 20 years. This year, the donation will provide meals for 35,000 people. Another 1,400 dinner boxes will be available for needy families.
The donation is the largest so far by the tribe. Last year, the tribe gave away 6,000 turkeys.
