Tim Martin, the longtime executive director of the United South and Eastern Tribes, is going back to work for his tribe, the Poarch Band of Creek Indians in Alabama.
Martin will serve as president of Creek Indian Enterprises, the tribe's economic development arm. He said he plans to diversify the tribe's economy.
The Poarch Band is the only federally recognized tribe in Alabama.
