Man claims to have created works for R.C. Gorman

A New Mexico man is claiming to have produced works of art for the late Navajo artist R.C. Gorman.

Joseph Sparks says he was a "secret" business partner of Gorman, who died last November. In a lawsuit filed in state court, he says he is owed half of Gorman's $30 million estate.

Sparks claims he spent most of his time at Gorman's resident near Taos. During the last year of Gorman's life, he says he took care of Gorman's personal needs and created "all" of Gorman's works.
