A development group headed by a Yakama tribal member wants to invest $275 million in a major project on the Yakama Reservation in Washington.
Twilight Development Co. is proposing a large gaming, housing development and family resort.
The project would include a casino, hotel and conference center, health club and spa, event center, 18-hole golf course, theme park and 175 homes.
The president of Twilight Development is Ted Strong, a tribal member. He is pitching the project as a family-oriented attraction.
Yakama leaders are willing to consider the project but the council chairman said it probably wouldn't be up for consideration for at least a couple of months.
