Native Counselling Services of Alberta is offering cultural and sensitivity training to police officers in Edmonton, Alberta, in light of a "racist" e-mail recently circulated.

Native Counseling CEO Allan Benson says training is required to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. He said the majority of officers do a good job.

Acting police chief Daryl da Costa is investigating the "racist, discriminatory, disgusting and offensive" e-mail that discussed 10 ways to deal with Native people.
