The Oneida Nation of New York is being told to pay $5.1 million in unpaid taxes or lose 59 properties in Oneida County.
The bill is just one of several the tribe is facing in light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision.
Madison County is demanding nearly $3 million in unpaid taxes. The town of Verona wants $13 million.
Local officials say the court allowed taxation of tribal properties because they are not held in trust. The Bureau of Indian Affairs also said the land is not held in restricted status.
