Campaigns make final push for New Mexico Natives


The Democrats and Republicans are making a final push this weekend to appeal to Native voters in New Mexico.

Former President Bill Clinton and Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Sen. John Kerry, will appear at a rally in Santa Fe on Saturday. Heinz Kerry and "West Wing" actor Martin Sheen will appear at San Juan Pueblo and near Taos Pueblo on Saturday.

On Sunday, Clinton plans on meeting privately with tribal leaders in Albuquerque. He is scheduled to attend another rally there.

The Bush-Cheney campaign will hold a rally in Shiprock on the Navajo Nation on Saturday.
