Police resume search for missing Native girl

Police in Regina, Saskatchewan, have resumed their search for Tamra Keepness, a five-year-old Native girl who has been missing for more than two months.

Police returned to the Muscowpetung First Nation, northeast of Regina, on Tuesday. They had searched the reserve before, finding no evidence, but said new information prompted another visit.

Tamra was last seen at her home in Regina the night of July 5. Police have little information to go on in the case. Native volunteers had been searching for Tamra while the police focused on the family.
