The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has shut down its youth safe house, The New London Day reports.
The closure follows allegations by former employees that children were being sexually abused at the facility. The tribe later fired the employees.
The tribe has made other arrangements for the children who were at the safehouse. Some are living in foster homes.
The safehouse will reopen in August.
