Casino mogul Donald Trump is seeking detailed information from one of the financial backers of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation, The New London Day reports.
Trump filed a lawsuit after a faction of the tribe dumped him as their casino patron. The tribe opted to stay with golf developer David Rosow and William I. Koch, an entrepreneur, who had been funding another faction.
Trump's lawyer is hoping to question Koch under oath about his involvement with the tribe. The lawyer has asked Koch to bring detailed records, agreements and other information.
The tribe was recognized in June 2003 but the state of Connecticut has filed an appeal.
