"Strong efforts by Sinte Gleska University and local partners have filled a major gap in the Sioux Falls arts scene.
Sinte Gleska will sponsor the Northern Plains Indian Market Sept. 23-26, replacing Northern Plains Tribal Arts, which had been held here since 1988.
Native American artists are among our greatest treasures.
And there's no better place to showcase them than South Dakota's largest city - Sioux Falls.
Best wishes and great success to this new event."
