Yellow Bird: Are mourning doves on the Atkins diet?

"During my travels and places I have lived, I always have tried to at least taste what I am offered at a meal. This is because I told my children when they were little that they at least should try new things.

I have tasted rattlesnake, escargot (snail), raw clams, dog (in ceremony), smoked eel (didn't like it) and rabbit (I found it hard to eat, especially when I thought about the fuzzy, cute and cuddly animals). I also have eaten venison, elk, bear (I only tasted bear) and more recently moose (now that was great tasting).

Mourning doves? I wonder how many carbs are in a dove meal?"
