Non-Indians on the Tulalip Reservation in Washington have formed an organization to oppose the tribes attempt to assert authority.
The Tulalip Community Association formed out of opposition to the tribe's proposed shoreline regulations. But group members are also fighting a bill that would cross-deputize tribal police.
Non-Indians don't want the tribe to have authority over them. They say they don't have a say in tribal politics.
