Photo from ilani Casino Resort Construction Feed The Cowlitz Tribe is spending $32 million on highway improvement project for its fast-rising casino in Washington. The ilani Casino Resort is getting a new overpass to replace an aging bridge, The Battle Ground Reflector reported. The interchange improvement project is funded entirely by the tribe. “The funds are all private and no taxpayer money will be used, even for overruns,” the tribe said in a statement to the paper. The tribe broke ground on the casino earlier this year after overcoming numerous legal, regulatory and political hurdles. It's due to open on April 17, 2017. Read More on the Story:
