Connecticut's two federally-recognized both reported increases in slot machine revenues for the month of April. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation saw $40.7 million in slot revenues at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. That represents a 5 percent increase from April 2015. The Mohegan Tribe reported nearly $51 million from slots at the Mohegan Sun. That's an increase of about 3 percent from last year. The tribes are working together in hopes of opening a new casino but they have indicated that they won't select a host community until next year. The goal is to address competition from neighboring Massachusetts. Get the Story:
