Pokagon Band's plan for another casino facility faces a local vote

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians says plans for a third gaming facility in Dowagiac , Michigan, need local approval.

The tribe presented the Four Winds Dowagiac to the Pokagon Township Board. The board will vote June 13 on the project.

The facility will feature 200 slot machines, four table games, a 3,000-square-foot multi-purpose space and a 25-seat restaurant. It will be the smallest of the tribe's casinos.
