Ho-Chunk Nation submitted off-reservation gaming application

The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin submitted an off-reservation gaming application to the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

President Jon Greender has said it could take years for the BIA to make a decision on the application. The tribe will also need approval from the state governor.

The tribe wants to build a casino in Beloit. The city council has approved an intergovernmental agreement with the tribe.
