Construction on a casino for the for the Federated Indians
of Graton Rancheria could start this summer, the tribe's partner said.
Station Casinos is financing the casino. The project is expected to cost more than $700 million.
"We anticipate starting construction on the project this summer and opening by the end of 2013,” Station Casinos said in its first quarter statement.
The California Legislature has ratified the tribe's Class III gaming compact. The Bureau of Indian Affairs will review it.
