The Habematolel Pomo of
Upper Lake in California expects to open its casino in spring or early summer of 2012, The Lake County News reports.
Construction of the Running Creek Casino began in August. The 33,000 square-foot casino will feature 349 slot machines, six table games, a dining outlet, player’s club and gift shop, the paper said.
The tribe expects to hire 145 people at the casino.
